Wet in the Morning - _TNY_6510

Here is a swamp crab spider (Xysticus ulmi) shot at 1.5:1 magnification on an ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) really early in the morning.

 

In fact, this was at 03.47 so the spider was still quite wet from the night's dew and it had accumulated nicely on the spider, almost creating some sort of glass look here.
