Having Lived Hard Life, Pt. 2 - _TNY_7912
This tiny beaut on top of a deep red flower on the great burnet (Sanguisorba officinalis) is one of the ermine moths. I'm not 1005 as it is so worn, but I believe this to be the apple ermine (Yponomeuta malinellus) a species whose larvae feed on apple trees and can sometimes defoliate entire trees.
