Measuring - _TNY_0740S2-PS

This little beauty climbing up the side of a wilted thistle is the caterpillar of the geometrid moth the goldenrod pug (Eupithecia virgaureata).

I found this one an early morning on the Hemesta sjöäng wetland and it stayed still enough for me to take two shots of it which I have combined into one. I had to resort to Photoshop though as my regular stacking software couldn't handle the sligtly different angles.
