Almost Camouflaged - _TNY_5583
The goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia), also known as the female flower crab spider, can over the course of a couple of days shift colour from white like here to a deep mango yellow. This one has chosen the center of an ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) as her ambush point - but if she insists on staying dead center on the yellow part, perhaps she should consider shifting to yellow?
Here's a shot of the same spider the day after, eating two(!) Hybotidae flies: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/50026280183/
