Doing it in Style, Pt. 2 - _TNY_5910S2

The meadow cranesbill weevil (Zacladus geranii) has meadow cranesbill as well as other cranesbill species as their host plants.

This pair, which I found on Midsummer's day in the Paradiset nature reserve are in the process of securing the next gereration - on a cranesbill of course.

Two exposure focus stack shot using the Canon MP-E65mm at 3.9:1 magnification and blended together using Zerene Stacker.
