Comfortable Model - _TNY_8276
While out in the forest in the Skeppnan nature reserve in Haninge, Sweden, I noticed this female red-brown longhorn beetle (Stictoleptura rubra) on a leaf on a bilberry shrub.
She was a very accomodating model and stayed still and posed for me and I was the one leaving the shoot before she did. I also like the very fine hairs that cover the elytra and which came out nice in this photo.
