Salix for Two - _TNY_4475
I had a look for insects near lake Stensjön in Tyresta National Park a few days ago and found that most of them were busy eating on the flowers on whatever species of willow (Salix sp.) this is.
The duo in this shot is a red wood ant (Formica rufa) on top of a green tortoise beetle (Cassida viridis).
