I have many shots of insects on the great masterwort (Astrantia major), but they are all taken in my mother-in-law's huge garden. Since I enjoy these a lot, my wife has planted some in our backyard as well and this is where this shot is taken.
This is some sort of running crab spider (Philodromus sp.) which has managed to catch an orange fly and was carrying it around, not at all pleased with letitng me have a look at them.
The fly is either some sort of Sapromyza or Sapromyzosoma, but I can't tell which specific species.
