Attitude - _TNY_0203

Robberflies (Asilidae) are typically quite confident and not as easily scared as other flies - perhaps because they know they are extremely adept fliers, perhaps only second to dragonflies.

This one (unsure which species) managed to show quite a lot of attitude with its head cocked like that on the leaf of a elephant-eared saxifrage (Bergenia cordifolia) by the garden pond.
