Stiletto with Silver - _TNY_8903

Unlike members of the Thereva genus of stiletto flies, this Pandivirilia eximia (as well as other Pandivirilia) can be distinguished by not having long hairs on the face.

 

I must say that I really like the paint scheme on this one. Black with two silver stripes and then red on all extremeties as accents.
