Blue-Eyed Blonde - _TNY_7274

This pale - and quite worn - fellow is a grass moth in the Crambinae subfamily. This photo is however not enough to figure out exactly which species.

 

The Crambinae name stems from the Greek word for "dry" or "parched" and there are over 1800 species worldwide.

 

Pretty interesting texture on this one with the scales, right?
