Camouflage - _TNY_0749
About two meters / six feet up in a tree, this rock grayling (Hipparchia semele) decided to land while I was watching it.
If I hadn't seen it land I don't think I would have noticed it - but now that I did, I managed to get quite close by taking it slow as this species relies quite a lot on its camouflage to avoid detection and chose to stay still.
