Wet Dreams - _TNY_0682S2

Walking around in the Hemmesta Sjöäng wetland on the Värmdö peninsula outside Stockholm one very early morning I stumbled on this meadow brown (Maniola jurtina) asleep on a thistle.

 

I think it looks pretty cool with all those dew drops covering it, right?

 

Since it was sleeping (and thus completely still), I managed two (handheld) shots and combined them into one using Zerene Stacker.
