Long Stayed for Long - _TNY_0756S2
This is a female long hoverfly (Sphaerophoria scripta), a quite small species that was resting on a flower on the yellow loosestrife (Lysimachia punctata).
In fact, it was waiting so long that I managed more than one shot. Unfortunatley I moved myself a little bit between shots so Zerene Stacker couldn't handle it so I blended two shots manually using Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 instead. Pretty nice clarity on the wings, right?
