My wife is from Härnösand, 500 km to the north of Stockholm, and we like to spend part of the summer there which gives me access to my mother-in-law's quite impressive garden.
In it I have a few favourite spots and one of them is the great burnet (Sanguisorba officinalis). It almost alway have some nice looking flies like this hoverfly (Sphaerophoria sp.) on it and I've gotten a whole bunch of sexy shots of them (you can find all I've posted so far here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/albums/72157705562389611).
