With Seagulls - _TNY_1396
The marmalade hoverfly (Episyprhus balteatus) can't handle the temperatures in the Swedish winter. They like our summers though so every year, lots of them migrate from more southern locales and their larvae feast on aphids - to the extent that they are used as biological pest control.
They are quite easy to identify due to the thin "seagull"-like lines on the abdomen which no other hoverfly here has.
