Looking for Babes, Flash Version - _TNY_6403

My mother-in-law's garden outside Härnösand, Sweden, has a large pond and I usually find a few different species of dragonflies there every summer.

In the summer of 2018 there was a new species there, the yellow-winged darter (Sympetrum flaveolum)

This male was perched on top of a dead flower, on the lookout for any hot ladies to fool around with and any other males to charge and drive away.

I've edited this one a bit in Photoshop to remove some of the reflections in the eye and face, but I'm not sure it looks good. What do you think?

I also have a shot taken right after this one, but without flash and it looks like this: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/46099385492/
