In Desperate Need of a Combover - _TNY_0471
I think this pretty worn little lady on top of a great masterwort (Astrantia major) is a tree bumblebee (Bombus hypnorum). Initially the small size led me to think it was a B. cingulatus (the black band between the wing bases in that species wasn't showing here because it has been worn off), but the habitat doesn't fit.
2.0:1 magnification shot with the MP-E65mm and I particularily like how the pink of the flower reflects in the eyes.
