Not Getting Around Much - _TNY_0907
The silver-studded blue (Plebejus argus) is a pretty butterfly, but it's not much of a traveller. Typically one of these flies no more than twenty meters (65 feet) per day.
This particular specimen was found at the tip of Havtornsudd (Sea Buckthorn Point) on the small peninsula of Gålö in the southern Stockholm archipelago.
If anybody recognizes the over-blossomed flower it is perched on, I'd be delighted to hear.
