The Yellow Zone is Dangerous - _TNY_9106

A goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia), also known as the flower crab spider, does, as the name suggests, prefer sitting in flowers, ambushing unsuspecting prey that land to pollinate.

 

These guys (or girls as this is a female) can actually change colour from white via green to a deep mango yellow. So why is the spider white here and not yellow like the dandelion? Well, it's not a chameleon and changing colour takes both time and effort - it can take a day or two to complete the change.
