Butterly with Tails - _TNY_7805

I found this beautiful butterfly on a a hot day on a trip back in 2016 with my wife and son in the forest surrounding the "Emerald Pool" of the Khlong Thom district in Krabi, Thailand.

It is actually known as the common tit (Hypolycaena erylus teatus).

I saw two nice tits on this day, but one of them took off before I could even take a photo of it.

These ones (both males and females) have tails on their wings plus eye marks and they can shake them (to look like antennaes) in a ploy to fool predators to attack the wrong end of the animal.
