Surprise Inhabitants - _TNY_4868

I took a photo of this small maiden pink (Dianthus deltoides) in a nice white/purple colour variety (here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/43999004961/).

 

But when followed up with a closer shot, it revealed that there were a whole bunch of minute thrips living in it and they came out after the first shot.
