Max Magnification - _TNY_7408
This young nursery web spider (Pisaura mirabilis) is only about 4-5 mm (.16") in body length.
Luckily I had the MP-E65 on the camera and the spider chose to sit still while I shot this at the maximum 5:1 magnification.
The rocks it appears to be sitting on is actually mortar between the bricks of our house - I just chose to rotate the shot ninety degrees.
