Certain Doom - _TNY_1190

When emerging from the water to begin the adult part of life, something went really wrong for this female black darter/meadowhawk (Sympetrum danae). First she suffered a dent to one of the compound eyes, but more severe, her body got stuck with this weird bend and finally the wings didn't dry in their proper form, making any chance of flight impossible.
