Giant Hair-Do - _TNY_4211

A yellow horned (Achlya flavicornis) I found outside the kitchen window one cold early April moring. Later in the day I saw that it had moved to the infructescence of a nearby Miscanthus grass where it spent the rest of the day in wait of darkness.

 

Pretty mean hairdo, right?
