Center of the Purple - _TNY_8550

The aptly named red-tailed bumblebee (Bombus lapidarius) is all black with a (not surprinsingly) red tail.

 

This one is going deep into a flowwer which I actually have no idea what it is (except intensely purple).

 

Also, check out the cool two-coloured stamen on the flower - striped in purple and yellow!
