Cave Monster - _TNY_5118S2

A flower of the beauty bush (Linnaea amabilis) makes for a nice cave when you're as small as this guy.

The best guess about what it is has been that it is a male Crabronid wasp in the Psenulus genus, a genus now considered the closest living relatives to bees.

It was nice enough to stay still long enough for me to get multiple shots so this is two exposure focus stack made with Zerene Stacker (PMax).
