Hairy Leaves for the Ladies - _TNY_8882
This is a female European wool carder bee (Anthidium manicatum). The females will visit these flowers as they instead of cutting out parts of leaves like other Megachilidae line the cells in their nesting chambers with the hairs off the leaves.
The cells are then filled with a liquid mixture of nectar and pollen together with an egg and the larvae will eat this before pupating.
