Frankenfly - _TNY_9009

A weirdly-looking Sicus ferrugineus thick-headed fly on top of a yellow flower, probably an ox-eye daisy.

 

This species of fly is a parasite on some bumblebee species.

This guy was totally oblivious to me getting close - I was actually beginning to think it was dead.
