Silverback - _TNY_9016
A white-tailed bumblebee (Bombus lucorum), or possibly B. cryptorum or B. magnus on a great masterwort (Astrantia major).
This was shot back in 2016 when I was using a ring flash. Those are near-impossible to diffuse the light from which creates some pretty harsh lighting - but for a fuzzball like this one - all that hair doesn't reflect to begin with and we end up with a very well-lit subject.
