Liquid Lunch - _TNY_0635

A female European garden spider (Araneus diadematus) well under way consuming some sort of insect which was beginning to take a more liquified form (making it difficult to identify).

This spider actually constructed a nifty little shelter by tying (in lack of a better word) together the sides of a leaf like the ones in the background into a U-shape effectively sheltering it from rain and such while still provide easy access down into her web.
