Tripwire - _TNY_2954

This female kite-tailed robber fly (Tolmerus atricapillus) had caught some small flying insect and landed to devour it, but managed to land on a strand of spider web. I didn't see the spider so she just ignored the strand and took off.

The orange blob on the underside is a velvet mite parasitizing on the robber.
