A female brimstone butterfly (Gonepteryx rhamni) using that fantastic proboscis to refuel on a heartleaf oxeye (Telekia speciosa).

These two are very good shots to see the level of compression Flickr adds to the images viewed online. That background looks quite bad, but if you download the full image you'll notice that in the "real" image it looks much better. It's just the ones everyone see on the site which look terrible.
