Fuzzy Parasite - _TNY_2319

This bundle of fuzz is a large bee-fly (Bombylius major) - a bee mimic which also parasitizes on them. The female flicks the eggs near the entrance to the nests of solitary bees and wasps and after hatching, the larvae find their way into the nests to feed on the grubs.
