Tête-à-tête - TNY04768
A pair of Stream Heliodor damselflies (adult male on the left, female on the right), also known as Yellow-lined Gems (Libellago lineata lineata) on a floating branch in the water at Pa Phru Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam in Krabi Thailand. These are pretty small which doesn't really come across in the photo - The length of the abdomen is only around 15 mm (male) and 20 mm (female).
I didn't dare to take the SLR out in the water (I'm holding the camera about 10 cm / 4" above the water) so this was shot using an old Sony DSC-T100 supercompact.
