Cold Little Lady - _TNY_3332
First bug shot of 2018 for me. This cold and frozen female zebra spider (Salticus scenicus) was sitting on the outside of our front door and let me take a couple of closeups with the MP-E65 and by supporting the lens on the door I was able to take these at somewhere around 3.5:1 magnification.
When this little girl was in the same exact spot the following day I moved her to our glazed patio where temps are a little warmer than outside. At least she got nice mittens on here!
