Magenta Dinner - _TNY_6777

Here's a Barbut's cuckoo-bee (Bombus barbutellus) on top of an orpine (Hylotelephium telephium).

 

Like all cuckoo bees, this species imitates other species of bumblebees and parasitize on them. This one specializing on B. hortorum and B. ruderatus.
