Thyme Encounter, pt. 1 - _TNY_6323

The bumblebees really like the patch of thyme. Lots and lots of tasty flowers and they grow close enough that they hardly need to fly between them but can just crawl to the next one. This one is a socially parasitic species, the Gypsy's cuckoo bumblebee (Bombus bohemicus).
