Dead in the Water - TNY_9959S10

I found this dead common backswimmer, Notonecta glauca, (Live specimen: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/15119129486/) in the garden pond and did a ten shot focus stack of it which turned out nicely using Zerene Stacker (DMap).

 

Shot using the Raynox DCR-250 on a EF 100mm/2.8 USM Macro.
