Plane being defined by two vectors

This Ikea piece is actually an over-toilet rack that my boyfriend chopped down so it was flush with the stove, and we got the drill out and repositioned some of the shelves. The last step was my dad making us this sweet "board with the corners cut out" to sit across the struts and hold big baking sheets.
