"This TAWNY-SHOULDERED BLACKBIRD is a resident on Cuba and in Haiti. The only U.S. record was two secured (specimens) at the Key West Lighthouse on 27 Feb.1936. Smaller and slimmer than Red -Winged Blackbird and with a slim, pointed bill; lesser coverts tawny, not red, and rear border has a narrow blended edge. ..." -National Geographic Fiedld Guide to Birds of North America.
This is a Code 5 North American species which almost means "forget it".
