Green Lynx Spider, Wild Turkey Strand Preserve
I believe this is a green lynx spider. The female of the species constructs egg sacs around this time of year. Two weeks later, the eggs hatch, but the spiderlings stay inside the sac for another two weeks before emerging. Photo by Lee County volunteer Erin White.
