I have mixed feelings about London. It's full of fun activities and great architecture but it's so full of people. Often scary people. I don't have the inner strength to cope for longer than a few hours really and this was one such time. While it was an overnight stay in a hotel, I ventured out only twice: once into the City and another over to Southwark.
A rare almost-sunset shot for me here, as I stared out at the window watching the lights slowly turn on against the lessening light. I focused in on the Shard as it's one of my favourite buildings. The lighter surface on the side? Beautiful.
