So I plunked down $75 for a bunch of triggers from www.hiviz.com. I rigged up a Schmitt photogate to trigger my camera and then had that fire a strobe via a PW + II. I played around with a piece of black foam core and two pieces of white mat board until I got something I liked.
Photographing water drops is played out but kind of fun. It's like fishin' - anyone can do it, not all casts will catch a fish, and every now and again you get a beauty.
