I have a pet monkey and although he never allows me to photograph him (he's throws feces at my camera if I try), he's cool with taking pictures for me. For this one, he held onto the rack with one hand and the camera with the other. I had a string tied to his tail and every time I tugged on it, he knew that was his signal to actuate the shutter - he's smart like that.
If you don't have a monkey, a second option would be a Manfrotto super clamp and cheap-ass wireless trigger from eBay.
