Badwater, Death Valley

It was 120 in the shade when I took this photo. I was out of water and the buzzards were circling overhead.

 

Alright, I'm lying. It was a balmy 70 degrees, I had plenty of water, and I didn't see a buzzard my entire time in Death Valley.

 

However, I hope you get the feeling of an oppressive heat because that is what I was going for.
