My beautiful '93 Thunderbird is gone. I said goodbye in a haste, taking a few last pictures of it as I stroked its sides one last time. The emblem of the Thunderbird derives from the American Indian lengendary bird, and drawings of it found chipped into rock faces in the American Southwest. I love petroglyphs. I loved this car. For ten years I owned it. Two of those years it simply sat in my yard. I couldn't bring myself to put it down. Even when it wasn't driveable, it was my companion, always there, always watching me, always saying "Remember when we...?"
