timbo on the hill says: This photo is so beautiful, it has so much going on in it. I especially love the rays and the logs.

timbo on the hill says: As I commented, sun, trees, snow and Keele, what's not to like. I especially like the sun peeking through and the delicate hanging branches.

timbo on the hill says: So little photosynthesis going on in this pic it's a wonder it got into the gallery. ;) If I was to be a little more insightful I think it shows the struggle for trees to get enough sun perfectly. You have to admire the photographer too, it looks cold and early.

timbo on the hill says: I think again, it's the colour range in this pic, and the bokeh and the silhouette. Okay it's the whole pic. Lovely pic.

timbo on the hill says: How can you not love that vibrant red and the delicate veins. Fantastic. We don't have many red leaves in my country.

timbo on the hill says: Now contrast this with above pic. Orange instead of green, lots of light, the chlorophyll is nearly all gone and now it's time for the trees in the other hemisphere to take over.

timbo on the hill says: I think it's the potential for photosynthesis in this pic. The trees are starting to bud, the sun is getting stronger and burning away the mist. Go back in a few months and green should reign.

timbo on the hill says: The shaft of light in this pic does it for me and that little fern in the foreground, ferns of course having done the whole photosynthesis thing for much longer than trees. :)

timbo on the hill says: Do I really need a reason why I added this pic to this gallery? Absolutely gorgeous.
