Returning Rockhoppers

Here is a trio of Southern Rockhopper Penguins returning from a fishing trip back to their nesting colony on the Falkland Islands. As soon as they reach land they speed their progress by leaping, a habit which gave rise to their name. Here they are making a splash in the shallow surf.
