Sheep, Snow and Sunset: A Homage to Joseph Farquharson

I love the paintings of Joseph Farquharson, the Scottish artist who specialised in flocks of sheep in the snow at sunset. His paintings are often used as Christmas cards. Well I happened to be out for a walk as the sun was going down when I came across a flock of sheep in the snow. The opportunity was too good to miss to try and recreate one of Farquharson's famous scenes. Not quite as good as his but I think I'm in the right territory. It was taken near the village of Shepley in the Pennines of West Yorkshire.
